BSMP, LLC. I’m sorry, Bristol Palin opened what?

Maybe I’m missing something, but can anyone lend some insight as to how and why Bristol Palin has her own PR firm? BSMP, LLC.

Just curious. Not trying to be so quick to scrutinize the budding entrepreneur and single teen mother who People Magazine glamorized in a cover story last year. However, I sure don’t want to glorify yet another Palin for something they’re severely under-qualified for.

No need to worry about her stealing our clients just yet, folks. Many speculate that the LLC may have just been created for tax purposes seeing as Bristol is a paid spokesperson for a pro-abstinence organization, The Candie’s Foundation, as Ragan reports on their blog.

Here are some more reactions from others across the web:

Thanks for the link to my post! I did read that the company was created for tax purposes, as well as to act as the PR firm for Sarah Palin’s election bid for 2012. I guess we’ll have to see!
